We Love Passionate Fans

Thank you, Jack and VTPhishFan, for commenting on our blog. We appreciate the time you took to share your thoughts and opinions with us.
We understand and appreciate that you and most members of our consumer audience, whether they’re Phish fans or Phillies fans, are loyal and dedicated folks who are passionate about live entertainment. And about sharing live entertainment experiences with friends.
We admire your enthusiasm; after all, we’re fans of live entertainment, too and this is why we do what we do. When demand for tickets is far greater than the supply of seats (such as what occurred for the Phish show at Hampton Coliseum), we are able to facilitate a secure, reliable and convenient marketplace for fans to purchase tickets at a price they are willing to pay.
There are just a few items I would like to clear up, so please permit me to share with you a little bit about how our business works:
* We don’t divert tickets from Ticketmaster and list them for resale on TicketsNow. This simply does not happen.
* Yes, VT, tickets really do sell out in a matter of minutes – especially for high-demand events when there are about 10 times more fans who want tickets than there are seats available.
* We will always strive to provide the safest, most secure marketplace where fans can buy and sell event tickets.
* We truly do appreciate the feedback we get from our consumers; this is the single best way to learn how we can continue to improve and evolve as a business.
We understand that this may provide little comfort to Phish fans who were unable to get tickets at the time of the initial on sale – and that is a reflection of the massive popularity of a great band. Our promise to you is that we will continue to strive to provide the most secure, fair resale marketplace and continue to offer fans an opportunity to buy tickets to experience all the fun and excitement of live entertainment.
Thanks again to Jack and VT for sharing their comments with us. I hope this helps explain a little more about TicketsNow and the services we provide.
- Cheryl
BTW, VT, I pay for my tickets, too. I buy them through TicketsNow.
